Event Update 2 of 3
After a few 'stops and starts' we are all good to go for this year's event. Below is some news and tips on our upcoming 12th annual Wollombi Wild Ride Mountain Bike Event in the Hunter - set for Saturday 26 Sept (3 weeks later than usual).
You may be aware of the sad news that to comply with our recent updated approval conditions we have been asked to exclude all riders from outside our defined region of greater Hunter, Newcastle and Central Coast. These riders have received an email and will be refunded. This means our field is now somewhat smaller, but there is still a field of 300 riders coming from our defined region. We hope you will enjoy this event, albeit without our extra visiting riders.
Check this mail out and feel free to contact us via phone or email for any questions. We are 'real' Hunter local people, not international corporations or interstate nomads. We live and race in the Hunter. We live it... and love it, and we hope to see you racing here soon. Call or email @ 0249348138, paul@hevents.com.au

Event Entry Rejection Notice
It is with much disappointment that we must advise you that a strict condition of our recently updated approval is that we must comply fully with the NSW Government Community Sport COVID recommendations, that requires us to reject any event participant who resides outside our region. We have defined our region as Hunter, Newcastle and Central Coast. They will of course receive a full refund or they can request to transfer to 2021.
