ENTRIES OPEN FOR COVID SAFE EVENT

After the relaxation of the NSW Health COVID Community Sports rules for Mass Gatherings, the 28th annual Sparke Helmore Newcastle City Triathlon can again be staged under a COVID safe event plan. We welcome old and new participants alike to the event, to be staged on one of the best triathlon courses in Australia, including the City, Harbour Foreshore, Parks and Beaches of Newcastle.

Our event has been fortunate to have missed the peak of the COVID crisis and we are keen to stage a successful COVID safe event on Sun 21 Feb 2021

Maitland Triathlon Update and Reminder

This is an update email for those who have entered the 2020 event and a 'reminder' email for past participants in case you were unsure if we were proceeding. The good news is, we have Police approval to stage the event and failing the 'sky falling in' over the coming weeks, we are good to GO!

World Age Group Qualifier Status for Maitland

After 22 years the Quarry Mining Maitland Triathlon has been rewarded by Triathlon Australia with Qualifying status in the Long and Sprint distance events for the 2021 World Age Group Championships in Canada in August 2021. Offering 3 events on Sun 8 Nov, the event will be a sell out with COVID reducing the available event numbers to 350, due to mass gathering limits of 500.
